The beautiful Stubai mountain lakes exude both serenity and strength. That's why many hikers target them as a stopover. For good reason, as their stunning appearance immediately captivates you: in one lake, snow-covered peaks are reflected in the water, the next fascinates with its noble emerald green and another is surrounded by the well-known cairns.
25 versatilelocations
Because waterfalls, highland mores, mountain lakes, meadows and viewing spots have just as much charme as the high mountains surrounding them, there are 25 offical nature sites in Stubai valley.
The diversity of the region is revealed in places that are partly hidden. Those places tell stories, they have a powerful effect and open up new perspectives - benches and loungers invite you to linger and pause.
Many of the places can already be reached with a short hike.

White water trailExperience
The white water trail is always an enthraling experience: You trace the origin of a torrential stream in Stubai valley back to its origins. Three stages lead past wonderful alpine settings. Glittering glacier fields, turquoise-blue mountain lakes, springs that unite to form thundering waterfalls, small floodplains and alluvial areas - the white water trail leaves no attraction unturned.

StubaiSeven Summits
The seven "character summits" of the Stubai valley are not necessarily the highest but definitely the most striking, graceful and meaningful valley. They represent the region with all their facets: Rugged dolomite rock characterises three of the summits, glaciers flow around four of them and there is a difference of 1,000 metres in altitude between the highest and the lowest.

On the themed trails in Stubai valley, visitors not only enjoy the magnificent surroundings, but also learn a lot of interesting facts about exciting topics related to the valley.
A special tour, for example, is the contemplation trail, which leads along a gracefully laid out path to the beautiful Issenanger Alm. During the approximately three-and-a-half-hour hike, cosy benches, written panels and picture stations invite you to linger - and also to reflect.
