Powdering & off-slopes at the Stubai glacier:Free riding in Stubai valley
Freeriders love Stubai valley. Especially the Stubai glacier. The untouched deep snow slopes and the variety in the middle of the alpine scenery are simply outstanding.
Anyone interested in safety courses in open terrain will find what they are looking for here. The principle of personal responsibility applies. The avalanche warning situation should be taken into account as much as possible when leaving the secured slopes. The terrain should never be skied without the appropriate safety equipment. We advise you to take a mountain guide with you who knows the area! In the Powder Department, 13 freeride runs in the open ski area are recorded in their own off-slope map and as GPS tracks.
