What do you expect from a good winter holiday? Well prepared slopes, varied slopes, modern lift systems, snow guarantee., good skis, nice restaurants and cosy cottages. You can get all of that in the skiing regions in Stubai Valley, Stubai Glacier, Schlick 2000, Elferbahnen and Serlesbahnen. Furthermore snow guarantee from October until June and free lift passes for children under 10 years.

Schlick 2000 skiing area

Slopes across all levels of difficulty, a speed run and the Skiline profile measurement challenge piste skiers, snowboarders meet in the Free Nature Fun Park, while free riders are on the hunt for the most spectacular deep snow runs off the pistes of the Schlick 2000. In the family-friendly skiing area a team takes perfect care of skiing beginners and children starting from 3. After hours of activity, nine quaint retreats and huts invite you to end a day-trip in the Schlick 2000 area in a cosy atmosphere.

Leisure paradise around the Elfer

You can get right from the village Neustift with the Panoramabahn Elfer to the leisure time area at the 2.505 meters high Elferspitze. The Elfer is basically the clock for Neustift, because exactly at 11 am the sun is right above the Elferspitze. With the Geh-Zeiten-Wegen and the Naturschauplatz Elfer-Gratzengrübl there are attractions that show the rhythm of sun and nature.

Recreation, sports and fun in the Serles skiing and hiking paradise

The 2.717 m high Serles Mountain or "High Altar of the Alps" as Goethe called it, is one of the most popular recreational areas near Innsbruck. Thanks to Stubai Valley's cable cars and lifts that comfortably take holiday-makers and locals up the mountains, you can experience hours of relaxation in nature, both in summer and winter. The variety of sports activities on offer is unique: hiking, biking, tobogganing, skiing, sledding and snowshoeing promise hours of entertainment in the Tyrolean mountain world. Or simply take in the wonderful view across Innsbruck all the way to the Karwendel mountain range whilst enjoying the sun at the traditional alpine meadows and huts.
