The kingdom of snow

Spring, summer, autumn and winter: The Stubai Glacier reveals its qualities in every season and for all kinds of outdoor activities. At an altitude of up to 3,210 metres, it towers impressively above the valley head. In winter you can enjoy 35 perfectly groomed ski runs and 110 kilometres of slopes.

The colossal three-thousand-metre peaks and unspoilt nature provide a stunning backdrop..

In the warm season, the area is transformed into a true hiking and adventure El Dorado. Year-round highlights such as the ice grotto or the Top of Tyrol viewing platform give it that certain something. A holiday at the Stubai Glacier promises intense experiences that become unforgettable memories.

The Stubai glacierin Winter

Austria's biggest glacier skiing area

On the Stubai Glacier, slope pros, pleasure cruisers, free riders and kids all feel equally at home during their winter holidays. A one hundred percent snow guarantee from October to June means skiing fun when the areas elsewhere are already closed or not yet open.

In addition, the Stubai Glacier offers a mountain panorama that is second to none.

Last but not least, it is the above-average family friendliness and the tailor-made offers for children that make this alpine skiing area so special.  Children younger than ten years even ski for free. Among the 35 runs, skiers of all levels will find a large repertoire of suitable routes.

When hunger strikes, it's best to stop off at the highest gourmet restaurant of the Alps for a delicious snack.
